Cypripedium parviflorum parviflorum flower photographed this morning.  I use an artificial BG to isolate the inflorescence from the surrounding plants. K5 IIs 180mm f3.5 (0.4sec at f22, ISo 500).  Large view has the best color..........................Jim

A beauty - the colour contrast is delightful.
I always have a tough time getting a good perspective on lady slippers - this is perfect, and I will remember what you did.
Excellent image!

I like the tack sharp detail and conformation of the Small Yellow Lady Slipper. The DOF is well chosen, with the only OOF part the lower stem. The background, though artificial, has enough variation to make it a comfortable fit. No nits.devil

Nicely presented. The dof is good and the flower pops form the background.
