So many layers of parallels here... this WC finally got me to process this image.

From our hotel room in Chicago's financial district three years ago as the morning sun raked across a building on the other side of the alley. I chose the color version over the B+W because I like the hint of early morning sunlight.

Really like the image Dave, wonderfully interesting lines, light, shadows and patterns...the zigzag fire escape structures work as a fitting counterbalance to the running pattern of windows...your angle of view gives the image a nice depth. Well seen and captured.

Lots and lots of parallels here, Dave.  Even the shadows illustrate them.  Very well done.

Such nice light here. Every line is in parallel with something! Terrific choice for the WC.

Buildings are indeed full of parallel lines, Dave.  This look, emphasizing the windows, fire escape, and the shadows, shows off this structure wonderfully.  I agree that staying in color adds a lot of subtle interest.
