Yosemite fog

With all the fun Harry is having I should probably share some too.  This was mid March.  Had one morning to shoot and needless to say I was quite happy with the conditions.  I have a plethora of highly rated picks that I will probably be sharing over time.  This is one of the first I edited.

70-200 w 1.7x

Thanks!

Sweet alternating bands of trees, fog and shadows. The harsh light is actually working nicely in this one. I think this one would work beautifully in B&W, too.

Very nice! The layering of trees and fog are fantastic. It might be an illusion but it looks to be very slightly tilted clockwise.

Wow, that is some magnificent light! The alternating warm and cold areas are fantastic. No nits, just print it!

Incredible image, Aaron.  The multiple S curves of the fog, those in shadow, those illuminated, make this a remarkably dynamic image that allows the eye to explore and explore.  Wonderful play of warm and cool tones.  Outstanding.

Yep, it's the S curve of fog and color that really make this work.  I agree with Harley, of course, I always like to see a good b/w,
