White Shroud

Here is another from the same morning. This was right when I got to the meadow, before the sun came up and lit up the place. It gives much more the lay of the land, so to speak.

Please have a look at the large version. As it is a pano, the small is just that.

Ok, I'm tired of these fogging Yosemite images, NOT!   Another sweet b/w Harley. This one is a great addition to the collection showing more of the meadow. Love it.

Sure getting the rewards of the time and place. Another wonderful moody image, with just the right amount of detail in the background to provide a sense of place.

Very cool.  Something doesnt feel balanced about this comp though. My eye keeps snapping back and forth between the group of 4 on the left (which is very very cool) and the 2 bigger/heavier on the right.  Could just be me.  Conditions are amazing.  Do you have any of just that group of 4 on the left?  I keep wanting to stare at them.  It's like the 2 behind are the shadows of the 2 in front.

This one is beautiful too. In fact it may be more beautiful than the first. Although it doesn't have the emotional wallop of the first one. This is beautiful in the Ansel Adams manner, showing the majesty of nature. The dark bg works well. You could have gone with just one large tree as well.

Wonderful.  I would say nature's own composition, but that would negate your feet, eye, and technique.  I love all of these foggy tree with vapor-shrouded backdrop images.

Wonderful collection, Harley.  I prefer this over the others; the two on the right seem to pull the whole scene together for me, and the fog is gorgeous.

This is fantastic. For me the mix of fog and evergreens in the background make this one special. Composition is pleasing and B&W rendering works beautifully. Not sure how many pixels your working with but I can visualize a number of other possible crops for alternate comps.

You hit the jackpot that morning! This is another great b+w, and I can't seem to think of anything to improve. It's different than the others, but equally good.

Another stunning image, Harley, from what must have been one remarkable morning.  Love the panoramic format, and the wonderful composition, the balance which could not be better to my eye.  Fantastic, especially the larger image.
