Possibly Africa's most annoying bird for the endless raucous noise it makes, at least where we live.
Taken on the Savute Channel area of Chobe National Park, Botswana.

Interesting image Ken. Looks like it's taking a bath? A few years ago I lived near a city pond here in California that included an Egyptian goose that mingled with the typical city pond waterfowl. Guess someone released it there, having had enough of its obnoxious vocalizations!

Good shot, Ken. Nice low angle, interesting behavior and sweet light.
They've got this species at the zoo here, and you are right about the vocalizations.

Cool action with the water dripping off of him Ken, it looks like it might need a touch of ccw rotation.

In this image, at least, it has a pretty pugnacious look as well, Ken. I really like the pose and the water streaming off the bird. Nicely done.

Thanks everybody, I cannot imagine how anybody could introduce this species, but it does have nice colours

I really like the POV and falling water in this one Ken. I think it needs a little CCW rotation from what I can tell. I usually use the water rings as a guide on these type of images.
