Last week I took shots of this altercation involving two Grey Herons – the initial instigator was the one on the right. I’m reminded of the timeless song that runs:
Take out the papers and the trash,
Don’t you give me no dirty looks…..

Regarding the technics, I chose less space on the RHS to further accentuate the current direction of the oppression/tirade.  The bokeh lower BG (brightly illuminated buildings on the far shore) caused bothersome distraction –attenuated by a shallow curve and additional mild Gaussian blur.
Thanks for viewing
Your crits. and nits are most welcome
David

Hey David,
Excellent capture of this interaction between these two Herons, your timing could not have been better. Well composed with wonderful detail and you nailed the exposure.
I wish this one was in my gallery . . .  devil

David: this is an excellent capture of the moment. My only suggestion would be to have a bit more room on the bottom if possible. Fine otherwise. Richard

Love the interaction in the one David. If you have time, I would ike to see a repost with some of the RHS added back. I understand your reasoning, but think it feels a bit tight and even with more room, my eye would still go to the left side bird because of the aggressive pose and then follow it to the right giving me the same directional flow I think you were going for. Still, nice work!

Great interaction, David, and I think you chose an excellent crop to accentuate the situation.  Nice job handling the bg.

Great interaction, nicely captured!
I understand the tight cropping at the bottom, as you wanted to avoid the wall.

Wonderful interaction and nicely crisp throughout (no easy task with these big birds). Well done.
