Spring Colours

Hi, this is my first post to this forum. This is a Liverwort (Hepatica nobilis) one of my favourite wild flowers. Although I have shot them many times over the last few years this is actually an image from this year. I intend to start posting here regularly and more information about myself and my photography you can get from the .com website in my signature (the .de website is in German).

Taken with a Sigma SD1 Merrill and a Meyer Görlitz Trioplan, ISO 100, F2,8, 1/125 sec., an antique lens that fits perfectly to my style of photography.

Beautiful image Ines, and a great first post. There's nothing not to like about this image, it's masterfully done. I particularly like how you framed it with room where the taller flower is "looking", the feel is just right.

What a beautiful image that I somehow missed until now. I love the soft colors and the comp, the ring of light around the main flower, the blur on the bottom. Just superb. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
