Emerging Amaryllis

Sony A77
Minolta 200mm macro
ISO 200, 1/50 @ f8

This is not a studio shot but shot outdoors in full sun. The trick is I placed my large white diffuser between the sun and bloom and then overexposed the BG so it would go pure white and the flower head would be a softer color as well. I did a number of variations but liked this exposure pretty much the best. All comments welcome. >=))>

The HK approach to this adds some delicacy that isn't usually seen in an Amaryllis photo. Good choice of method and presentation.laugh

Hi Bill , nice High-Key finish with a great composition ... the diffuser behind the subject is a great way of getting a 'graphic' image.
Cheers, Mark
