Might be forcing Spring a bit but this is our first Calla to bloom. We've actually had a very mild winter so I can't complain. This was shot in open shade so I chose to leave some blue in the shadows from the reflection of the sky. Also added a touch of negative Dehaze in LR and a light vignette. All comments welcome.>=))>

A lovely Calla, Bill. I assume you added a touch of negative dehaze? This is classic thin DOF, but for me it could have benefited from a step or two more. Good as is anyway!cool

Phil: Good catch on the Dehaze comment. You're right; it was negative. . . .Bill

I like this just as is, Bill. Very artistic and appealing with the shallow dof, sweeping lines, and soft color. devil

i like this, Bill, but I think I'm with Phil on a little more dof. At least on the yellow thingy in the middle. I'm not much on my flower parts so I went with the the technical term of "yellow thingy"

Softer than usual for you, Bill, and none the worse for that.  The composition is perfect - the spadex seeming to emerge as if from a chrysallis.
