After the snow stopped falling the sun came out and I knew there was potential for a decent sunset.  This dock near my house was likely to be untouched and the wind created a pretty cool texture.

That is one gorgeous looking sky! The bridge with fresh snow leading into the photo is really nice. Looks like a nice print!

I like the comp with the dock leading into the image.  The sky is beautiful and I've always loved the look of untouched snow.  Very nice!

Nice image, Luke. I like working the low angle and getting the end of the dock at the horizon line.  The shapes of snow build up along the pylons is very interesting. Great sky and a nice soft light on the snow pier.

Luke, Excellent vision coming up with this view and then capturing it so well. Really nice work!

Luke, I concur with the previous comments. By far my favorite of your Great South Bay photos!

I like the color and simplicity of the image. You handled the white and dark areas very well. The image has a very peaceful feeling and makes me want to spend some time just looking at it. Just a fine image.

Very good. Currently, the bright snow is very dominant (due to brightness). I think that pushing the saturation of the sky a bit could balance this, by drawing attention due to color. Just a thought.

I love this image.  It is such a wonderful combination of beach scene and snow.  And of course, it's composed and exposed beautifully.
