Probably my favourite photo I took in 2015, winter in the Lofotens.

There's a heck of a lot to like about this image, I don't know that I'd be able to fault the processing in any way. Perhaps the right hand mountain unbalances the scene, but that's my only minor concern.

Looks like a much better day than any I had there in the fall albeit brrr-ee-tooo. Although this would probably make an exquisite B+W, I'm sure I would prefer this tri-chromatic version. No nits from me... besides who am I to fault your favourite photo of 2015? laugh

Good old Flakstad, it never fails to look fantastic.  I love the limited colour and the beautifully patterned wet sand.  Magnificent place  hope you had a couple of days with interesting weather.

Spectacular. Full of interest throughout. Superb foreground and dramatic sky. Hard to get any better than this - great work!

Excellent! This is a real beauty. It looks a bit over-sharpened to my eye, but very minor stuff. Great scene, with excellent color and very dynamic.

Wonderful scene. There's a lot going on in this image, but it works nicely. I too would love to see a B+W rendition of this image, but the color is great too. The subtle colors in the sky really add a lot to this image. Great job.

The depth conveyed by the large version is impressive, that fg is fascinating to look at and to follow into the bg. You got some good skies, too.

I can easily see why this is one of your favorites! The sky and mountains are great, but those patterns in the sand and water are nothing short of amazing. Sweet!

Superb with incredible light and reflections.  Now I can see why so many go there.

Very dramatic composition, and I can see why this is a favorite.  There are some really interesting elements in the FG.  If you would care to comment, I would be curious to know which parts are frozen and which are moving water.

Wonderful reflections and patterns in the foreground, which really makes this image stand out. Colors and light are also top notch. Just love everything about this, and can see why is was you favorite photo.

This is Fantastic!, and the large version is a treat to view. It is an amazing scene and you show it with a flawless composition. I love the cool blue tones in this along with the light and wonderful detail. I don't think it is over-sharpened but rather just the wonderful texture and detail showing especially in the foreground. Excellent work!

Kah Kit,

This is outstanding! and a perfect example of great near-far composition.  The patterns up front are fascinating and engaging enough; toss in the beautiful snow-covered mountain and dynamic sky and this is a winner all the way around.

No nits or suggestions.

Beautiful image

Bill, none of the foreground here is actually frozen, the patterns in the black sand perhaps is what is causing confusion.

A  very intriguing  image.   the  black  sand   in  the foreground could  pass for flowing water  or  ice. .... love the light and graphic detail....  the excaptional dof  you captured in this stunning  scene  is  remarkabledevil
