Mesquite Dunes, Death Valley NP

On my first morning of our first visit to Death Valley I got out on the dunes near Stovepipe Wells. I followed this couple with my long lens as they traversed a sand ridge still in shadow while the sunrise lit up the BG mountains. All comments welcome.>=))>

Beautiful composition, Bill! Was this your first visit to Death Valley? If so, I got bad news for you - you are hooked. Ask me how I know....laugh

What a Cool Image, I hope you got contact info for this couple to give them an opportunity to purchase a print. laugh

The DV dunes a re magical. I like the soft light on the Panamint Range, and the couple adds a nice touch.

Oh that brings back memories!  I can't believe it's been almost 3 years since I was in DV.  Wow.
You did a great job on this; it just brings it all back to me. You managed the light really well, and the people add depth and a sense of being there.  Nicely done!
