The All Madden Team II

These are my boys from left to right Morgan, Havoc, and Robbie.  This is a Christmas present for my wife so I decided to do something very different from what I normally do.  I photographed each dog individually and using a selection tool with refined edges, arranged them on a plain white canvas. I used a Gaussian blur on the lower edges for each dog to soften those edges and blended  them into the sharpened areas. The gradation in the blurred edge is more gradual and subtle in the printed version and appears more sudden due to the production of the jpeg version using Tony Kuyper's sharpening for web procedures.  I also selective applied a luminosity mask to darken the whites on Havoc's nose.  I used Topaz Detail to bring up the details and ran  Shadows and Highlights to bring out the details in the shadows.  I did Morgan and Havoc twice with Shadows & Highlights because the print proof was way too dark.
