David... nice compostion and lovely colors. You might want to try slightly bluring the edge of the mountain range in the background. This will help it "receed" and give the image more depth. The birds could have their opacity reduced 5-10%. This will give the feeling of atmosphere between them and the viewer. Thanks for posting in the Photo Art Gallery.
