Just a frosted leaf with a little early morning side/back lighting.  I managed to find one on the tree that I could isolate against a distant bg.

5D3, Canon 180mm f3.5 macro, tripod, f/32, 1/13 sec, iso 400, aperture priority, pattern metering, +1/3 stop compensation.  Processsed in LR5 & CS6.  Full frame.  Taken at 9:10 am on November 27th.

I always appreciate your comments and criticisms.

Thanks,

I really like the detail on the frost, there are a few places where you can actually see dendritic growth of the ice. The light works, I think, both in terms of helping with the detail on the frost and giving an early morning feeling.

Well composed, Dennis. Good job isolating the subject from the nice bg. The heavy frost adds detail and interest.

The frost pattern looks great, Dennis, plus you've got a fine oof background and the entire leaf in the frame. Nice job of searching and shooting.
