This is a different moose from the previous posts I made.  This one was taken about 3 days earlier and in a different location. It was the last light of the day (which makes it about 4:00PM here in Alaska).

Sony ILCE-6000, FE 70-200 F4G @ f/4.0, ISO-100, 1/100 hand held.

Gary,

the light was one of the things that I like when opening the post. I also like the walking pose of the moose and its stare.

Technically you made a good you considering the high contrast. I may check if the original photo file shows some detail in the belly area at the rear legs and if so I would try to work on that.

Gary,
Nice framing and composition. I like the light here. It seems that there is just a touch of warmth from the last bit of sun. Nicely done!

Gary, this is certainly fine as posted, but I must say I much preferred the more expansive feel of the other moose posting with that distant backdrop.  This one feels a little colder, too, and I would be tempted to open up the whites brightness a touch to about the level of your other posting.

Interesting comments.  For me, this image feels warmer than the previous one of the moose.  I really like the lighting in this.  Sweet.  Also like that raised foot and her intense look.  (Looks like she is in good shape, too!)
