Thanks for the comments on AI3. I hope I am not boring anyone with these. The smaller version is actually cropped from the larger (right side cropped). Comments on the crop as well as other suggestions, questions, and critiques welcome.  D600, 80-400 @160, 1/80, f20, iso 500. crying

I like the vertical lines among the shimmering colour. If it were mine I would up the midtone contrast to punch the flat looking colours although the natural feel you've presented work well enough too.

Scott,

A little bit more subdued than your earlier posts, but I think this one is my favorite of the series!  I really like the uniformity of the ripples top to bottom, which I think enhances that Impressionistic look to this.  Still a nice kaleidoscope of color, but again a little more subdued.

I could stare at this one for a while. Love it.

Scott, I think that the cropped version (smaller) works better with the vertical lines, but that may be in the eye of the beholder. The details on the ripples are very beautiful, and the small patches of blue sky are a great contrast. Not bored - keep them coming!

Love what you've been doing with these reflections, Scott.  Amazing colors and beautifully seen. Bravo.

Another beauty in the series. This is probably my favorite, but all have been excellent.  I prefer the cropped version, but still really like the full. Hard to go wrong with either. Love it!

Scott, This is super cool looking. Might be my favorite. Both versions of this look good to me but I do quite enjoy the cropped version. Can't really go wrong with either.

This is very cool. What a wonderful abstract, Scott. I really like babance of the colors and the textures of the ripples.

I like this one too.  Feels a bit under-saturated compared to the first one.

Once again you got very nice structures in the water, must have been a good day for photography! This one is much more subtle than the others, and I honestly think both interpretations work. Regarding the comp, I think I prefer the cropped (smaller) version, I find the tree to the right a bit too dominating. Excellent work!

I think this is gorgeous. I'm on a non-corrected low end monitor, but it still looks great.  Way more color than I can ever get into my autumn water reflections!!  Nicely balanced, too.  Makes you feel as though you are swimming in color.

Hi Scott, I like this crop a lot: A very balanced compositions which work very well with the subtle colours.  I think you could push the colours here really quite hard if you wanted but that would then of course be a very very different, abstract, image.
Cheers, Mark

Scott: I'm indulging myself with a tour through your gallery. I like this one a lot and like the larger uncropped version best. Good vision, good photography. >=))>
