Takakkaw Falls, Yoho NP
Looks like I'm late for the challenge ending yesterday but since I'm old and forgetful and not eligible for any prizes I thought I would post this anyway. One of the highlights of our Canadian trip in 2009 was Takakkaw Falls. I had never even heard of them until I read Darwin Wigget's Canadian Rockies guide book. Thanks to Darwin's expertise we showed up in the evening hoping to get some good light on these spectacular falls. I had scouted the area the night before but the light then was awful. I wanted to get into the stream near the falls so I had my waders and rain gear on. Crossing the bridge it looked like conditions were going to be good. I was not disappointed.
