Summer into Winter

This may look like a winter scene, but I actually took this photo in the middle of the summer.  When I used one of the sketch filters in Topaz Impression the resulting image looked to me like snow covering trees, foliage, and a frozen river under a leaden grey winter sky.  I also applied a slight blue tint to the image.

Your processing choices results in a pleasing winter scene.  Looks like a well done pencil sketch enhanced by the cool tones.  Had some real nice warmer days and I don't look forward to the snow covered ones that are on the way.

This is beautifully executed, Barb, and the title of the photo is so apt! It's amazing the results one can get from experimenting with those different filters.
