Withering Away

I found this old tree right along the road in Pasco County FL. I figured this gallery would be best for this infrared image since the colors are rather unnatural. Shot with a micro 4/3 Olympus EM-5 converted to 720nm infrared. Exposure was 1/80 sec at f7.1 and ISO 100 using the 9-18mm Olympus lens at 9mm. In Photoshop I inverted the red and blue channels in order to remove the normal infrared sepia tint and obtain the blue sky.

The processing gives this shot a surreal look, so the PA gallery is the right place for it.  Nicely done, thanks for posting it!
