Earlier this year my dad, brother, and I went to British Columbia to photograph the bird life. Early one morning we went out to a nearby lake and found some Green Winged Teals to photograph. After photographing them for a while, I looked around and saw a pair of Canada Geese swimming through the mist. I framed everything up and started shooting. They slowly made their way across the lake, while I photographed them from shore. I really like the dramatic mood of the image. I am very happy with the way this one turned out.
Thanks for lookin'!

9 commentslatelly I start liking this type of images very much since they focus is more on the artistical part of photography.
Since a while I am experiencing that many people use their cameras more due to the fact that technically they allow them to make pictures that a few years ago were not possible. I am mainly thinking about action photos showing birds in fly, etc. That is something that in my opinion has got more interest as the artistical part of photography.
This photo shows that a great mood can be as impacting to the viewer as action is.
Well done
I really like the misty and moody feel you have captured in this image. The trees being visible makes this special for me. Great scene!
The background tree's really put this image over the top for me.
A Beautiful Scene!
