Hi Harley,

The dappled light captured in this image is superb, and the amount of depth of this image draws me in and keeps me exploring. I just can't say enough ab out the layers of light and shadow. This is some great stuff Harley!!!!

You are on a roll, another beauty! I do think the comp would be a even stronger by cropping just left of the group of trees to the right. But I seem to be the only one to think so, so maybe my composition judging part of the brain is having a day off, haha.

Wow, Harley, this fall has been very kind to you.  Love this one. The light raking across this meadow and the stands of Aspen must have been awesome to experience.  Beautiful comp, the light and shadow balance very nicely and draw me right in and thru perfectly.

Another beauty! The pattern of highlights and shadows created by Sunshine tickling the treetops is one of the most soothing sights in Nature.  By making sure you are in just the right places when this spectacle happens, you are creating an amazing body of work.

The "lone trees" also make beautiful subjects.  I continue to be fascinated by the mix of forest and grassland.  Where I live (in the northeastern USA), virtually every acre of land below treeline is forested, other than wetlands and places cleared by people.  Even places burnt by a rare forest fire quickly return to brush and then forest.  Forest fire suppression over the decades has made grassland species rare.

Just dang. How the light and shadow outine the curves is special.  A slight bump in contrast may be worth trying and see if it fits your taste.  I saw this on my laptop this morning and had to see it on a real monitor tonight.  Sehr gut.

You caught some fine light here, Harley, with it grazing the different parts of the image.  Those trees in front do stand out nicely and it works well that the trees without leaves are mostly in the shade.

This is my favorite of this series, I think. The light is more subtle and the light / shadow contrast is just great. Excellent work Harley!

This location sure provided us with some fantastic viewing, Harley. I'll just pile on with what everyone else has said... kudos!

Everyone has already said it.  But.  The darker band between the areas of light really makes this work.
