Solidified volcanic lava in the Krafla lava field in Iceland. I liked the textures, shapes, and subtle colors in these formations.

Hi Basil I find this image does not have enough detail to catch the eye. . getting closer to the subject. could have helped....... without technical details. i find it hard to solve the problem..

Hi Basil,
I think the lines and patterns are interesting in this image, but I am having a hard time being attracted to any one part of the scene. I might have tried to get even closer to one of the interesting patterns to concentrate on a particular area.
