Ex-Lake Mills

This is what used to be Lake Mills above the Glines Canyon Dam. The river is doing a pretty good job of restablishing a channel and I would expect another couple of winters to really do a good job of it. A lot of the vegetation below lake level was planted and the rest is natural recovery. I'm going to love watching the progress.

5Dii, 28-70mm f2.8 @ 28mm, tripod, f/16, 1/160, iso 500, aperture priority, pattern metering, -1/3 stop compensation. Processed in LR5 & CS6. Full frame. Taken on October 15th at 10:30 am.

I feel this image tells the story as well if not better than your previous post. I like that you have detail in the shadows in the FG. I do think you could crop out the bit of blue sky, which I think tends to attract the eye out of the image. Thanks for sharing.
