Quite amazing and very cool, Jim, an uncanny resemblance to some Bristlecone pines.

This looks like a sand painting. Very interesting abstract. I would have liked some more story about the image.

Richard:  The best I can describe it is a very active ocean at high tide causing depressions, mounds and other deformatives. When the water receeds from high to low it erodes the sand much like a river at its delta. It is very common at long beach, WA. The area here is about 18"-24" wide. It creates very interesting abstracts. The top of the photo is higher than the bottom.

Jim ..thats a nice image of the patterns on sand. Without the explanation given, one would think this is a bunch of trees, like the ones in death valley. Very well seen.

Just browsing and I saw this one, Jim.  Brilliantly seen and executed!  Congratulations on the EP.

Very cool!  Could be an aerial or macro, no sense of scale which makes it even better to me.  Up for a lot of interpretation.  Maybe some added contract, or Clarity in RAW processing if you are into that to give the paterns more pop.
