Cashmere goat herd in the Altai Mountains of Western Mongolia about 50 kilometers from Siberia, China, and Kazakstan. The goats are shorn twice a year and the fleece is shipped to Ulaan Baatar the capital of Mongolia where it is woven into the clothing many of us wear. This cashmere is very high quality.

1 commentsBeautiful scene, definitely shows the bareness of the steppes. I like the soft clouds atop the mountains. The horseman is turned just enough to imply action.
