These pretty flowers are tiny, but the bright colors were quite conspicuous on the green grassy area just above the high water mark of a local lake.

Hi Wayne,
Milkworts are unusual and often brightly colored like this species. Looks pretty good, although the greens at the base of the leaf on the right could use a little more brightness. Flowers and BG look good. The OOF flower stem on the left is a slight distraction, but not a deal-breaker. Overall, I like the subject in the composition as it is framed well in the scene.....................Jim

Jim made some pretty good calls. I also think the flowers themselves are proof against more than a slight distraction. Lovely purple hue!

This is a nice portrail, Wayne. I like the color of the bloom. I am not sure if the bloom in the back is supporting or is a bit of a distraction. Overall, though, I like it.

Hi Wayne. A good portrait of one of the small beauty of the nature. I too have too write something: I love all but the half leaf rising from nowhere in the bottom left. I like the image also as it is.

Lovely capture and the deep cool tones of grass and bloom hint at the lakeside environment. I like the way the leaves come up to cradle the bloom. they add to the overall feel of a balanced image. Nicely done
