Danny, I just wanted to jump in and say that I think this is fantastic! The dark background, the light on Chester and the screen make for an attractive, beautifully lit composition. Your photos always impress and this one is no exception!

I love how despite the starkness of the presentation -- the darkness, the metallic mesh and the strong lines - the focus is purely on this magnificent creature. A very strong composition and a thoroughly enjoyable photograph.

An interesting alternative to this composition is to have a more squarish format with the fence line splitting the image right in half. It would break the thirds rule but seems intriguing to me. The chiaroscuro effect here is very well done. Nice job.

This works very well, Danny. Great lighting and the metal screen provides a good contrast to the kitty. Chester is looking good!

Hi Danny,
Just enough light to reveal Chester. Soft shadows and dark BG complete the scene--Well done.......................Jim
