Boise, Idaho hosts the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic. Part of the multi-day event is Night Glow, when tethered balloons are used as lanterns. It's very impressive, and drew a huge crowd.
Cropped to pano, 70% of original. Slight adjustments to Brightness.
C & C, please. Thanks for looking.

The rim lit folks in the forground add a lot of depth to the image. Makes me look forward to the upcoming Autum Aloft festival in nearby Park City later this month.
How cool is this! Must have been quite a sight. Very nicely exposed. I like the silhouette of the (?) children in the foreground. You can sense their awe at the what they're seeing. Though this is predominantly a nature photography site, it is interesting how often the human element adds to the photo. My only suggestion would be to eliminate the blue spots along the lower left and right edges. Thanks for sharing, really enjoyed seeing this.
Nice capture and I'll second Neil's comment. Amazingly little noise at ISO 5000!
Great color and shapes, JIm. I like the rim lighting on the folks in the foreground as it adds depth to the image.

What an awesome shot and phot opp !! Beautifully captured !
This is a great image of a balloon glow. To get all of the balloons lit at the same time is hard. I was at a balloon glow last night and they were never all lit at the same time.
I really like everything about this Jim! The brilliant colors against the dark bg, the curve of the ballons and the visible people underneath.
Well seen, composed and taken!
Congrats on an excellent photograph
I agree with Neil "The rim lit folks in the forground add a lot of depth to the image", especially the first three right down in front Jim.
Excellent use of the high ISO, and you found just the right place to stand with a great comp..
An impressive scene that has been captured really well. There is so much to see in this photograph, despite the large area of negative space. A little by little additional details keep popping up, which makes the whole viewing experience very enjoyable.
Very well captured!
