Certain sources consider these more closely related to geese than ducks. They are quite common around Bayou Sauvage where this was shot. I like them for their bright colors and even more distinctive voice.

I've always enjoyed your iimages of a single waterfowl with reflections, and this one is one of them. Simplicity in photography is very appealing to me, this one being no exception. Well done, Bill :)
