I guess this has really to be seen in the large version. A meadow brown butterfly encountering a small black beetle. The little black creature seemed a nuisance at first, but in this position it seemed to fit !

This is great, Ian. A ton of warm, gentle details, very complementary colors between the flower and the bf and a fine background. The little black critter adds a nice touch of extra interest.
