Canon EOS 70D || TAMRON SP 90MM MACRO || ISO 400 || F/3.5 || 1/200

This is one image I got last month. I was working with a robberfly and this butterfly came and sat near by. This situation was very interesting for me as the leaves below this butterfly has a good resemblance with its wing.

Thankyou....

I agree Swathiraj, interesting similarity in shape with the tail and leaves.

Nice and sharp, good job.

What did the robberfly do?

Good BF shot. I like the way the leaves echo the lower wing shape.cool

Hi,

This image works for me.  The red/green and black composition has a rich symmetrical pattern of color. The vibrant reds are exposed perfectlydevil..........................Jim

Good eye for the shot & I agree, the leaf "echos" the b-fly wing structure in a unique way..

Good job getting in close for this image of the wings juxtaposed with the similarly shaped leaves, Swathiraj. The green bg works well for the red and black wings.

Yes, there is a fine mimicry there, Swathiraj.  I also like your tight look at the wings with the emphasis on the shapes and colors.  Well done.

Excellent symmetry, it works very well. I like the contrast in colours and the fact that the leaves are just going out of focus gives the image depth. Graham
