Loch Achray, Trossachs NP, Scotland.
An older shot previously unprocessed, taken back in February 2012.
I am in an seriously bad photography slump at the moment, can't seem to take a photo to save my life.
All feedback is welcome, good or bad and thanks for looking.
Cheers, Gary.

6 commentsVery nice Gary. I know what you mean about slump. After a 2 month absence from shooting my images have regressed. I think that 'the seeing' gets weaker the less you shoot. In many ways your image is remarkably similar to mine in composition. Although yours is much more symmetrical. Love the mistiness.
Love the whole feel of this image. Moody for sure and it gives this viewer a sense of peace. Thanks for posting it.
Yeah, I had a serious dip for about a year or so as well, but things have turned back to their old levels again. Don't know, what exactly caused the dip, though, but I'm pretty sure most people into creative activities go through a similar process sooner or later.
The photo is really nice, and really shows Scotland at its most Scottish! I do think I would crop out the part to the left to where the trees on the hill start.
You have a very strong sense of mystery here, Gary. Love all the subtle shades of blue and how the peaks in the distance are fading into the sky/reflections. My approach to a slump is to go out with the camera, find a place that attracts me, relax and take some time to "feel" the environment. Then take some pictures... Good luck.
Thanks for the feedback everyone.
I am off to Malta later for a well earned weeks rest. See you soon.
Gary.
This is a beauty! A great find in the archives. No nits here. I really like it.
