There is not a genetic pre-dispositon to being a cowboy, thus, learning to be a cowboy requires alot of time and dedication. It is therefore best to start at a very young age, 10 months old in this case. Mom, Dad and the future cowboy are having alot of fun in this first go around at cowboyin' on the relatively tame event of Mutton Busting. Nikoln D4, 150-600 lens at 350, 1/320, f/6 and Auto ISO at 1800. This is about 50% of the original. nRichard

3 commentsCute image. It looks like everyone is having a grand time! I like the comp and the colors, although there does appear to be a blue/cyan cast in the whites, though.
Mutton Busting: I like that. I suppose we'll see the young 'un on the circuit, someday.

Preston: thanks for your comment and observation about the color cast. Here's a re-post with the cast corrected. The next stop for the little guy is calf riding at age 6 or 7. Richard
Nicely composed frame, love the action & all those smiles!
No tears here, that little cowboy was made for the saddle
Well done, TFS this fun shot
