This was taken at the same small lake as my previous post only this time at about 45mins after sunset. The clouds were moving slowly to the right and I used a 13 sec exposure to create the soft brush stroke like textures in the sky.
Thanks for looking comments appreciated.

9 commentsThe soft lines in the sky are a really nice feature. Maybe a wee bit more detail in the land would be nice, although the large version is already a significant improvement compared to the small version.
Love it. Would crop a bit off the top to make it symetric with the bottom. Killer colors.

Hi Carey,
I think this image is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet, and the large version is a must see to appreciate all the image has to offer. The simplicity of this image is where the beauty lies, and excellent vision and work. The soft feel to this is perfectly captured and presented to us.
This is very nice, Carey. I make bring the shadows up slightly, but wow, this is special. Love the colors and the layers. I don't think I'd mess with a crop, there is something very appealing to me about the open composition. Beautiful work.
Dreamy, surreal and very painterly. This should make a beautiful print.
Love the pastel colors and the symmetry. Beautiful twilight scene!
Beautiful with such a nice mood. A quiet, peaceful and very calming scene. Nice work Carey!
