Doing some raw file trashing and decided to process a couple bee and sunflower images from 2013. I like the way the bee in this image provides scale for the BIG sunflower. Nice to be able to post these sunflower images in larger file size too.

Fellows Riverside Gardens, 8/11/13, D600, 150 sigma macro, 1/320, f11, iso 500.

Comments, questions, and suggestions welcome. crying

Wonderful sunny look, love the burst of yellow & sky blue when viewed large!

I like the close, in-your-face off-center left comp as well Scott.

And the bee's dwarfed, adding a good sense of the flowers large size.

Well done!devil

This is way cool, Scott.  Excellent drama in the color contrast between the rays and the sky, outstanding detail in the center, and the bee as icing on the cake.  A terrific shot!

Beautiful flawless sun-flower shown in perfect depth of field to encompass the entire flower. And as Mark said, bee is a nice icing on the cake :)
