by Harry Harris
Taken on one of my La Jolla Cove trips.
Canon 7D with EF 500mm f/4L on a tripod
ISO 250; f / 5.6; 1/2500
La Jolla Cove is where I made my first solo scuba dive back in the early 70's
I like the birds colors against this blue, & it's an unusual/interesting perspective Harry.
Nice details, great title
Now that's a wide opening! The details in the birds head and especially the pouch are great. The thrown back head pose is neat also. Is it swallowing?
Great catch.
That's one big mouth and you definitely caught it wide open, Harry! A unique pose and a nice capture of it. I like the warm, late light colors.
Skip, congratulations on the editors pick. Nice to see you posting again.
