Yes, the heat wave continues here in Northern Utah so I continue to play with winter scenes that cool off my senses just a little. Every bit helps. The difference in camera sensors between the 50D and the 7Dii has been more drastic than I once thought.

Really nice Neil. I particular like the hint of shadow under the bird as well as the vegetation on the right. They add a lot to the image.
Think that sparce bit of vegitation adds a lot to this fine image, like this a lot.
Really cool high-key image Neil. I too think the small portion of included habitat adds to the overall feel of this photo. The colors pop very well. Nice work.
Excellent high key, the Chukar's colors really pop Neil.
Very nice details, POV, comp, & I like slightly raised foot here
Another fine one in this series ! The little grass on the right really adds to the image.
, cheers, Hans
What an amazing bird, Neil.
Very clean image, I really liked it.
I like the slightly lifted foot and the snowy BG really make the colors fly off the page Neil. Nice work.
Excellent high key shot, Neil. The thin strandos of dead grass balance the shot niely.
Gorgeous high key imae Neil, love it.
Another "painterly" image, Neil-I think that has a lot to do with the plain white bg with just a hint of shadow. It creates the feel of a Japanese print to me. The little tuft of grass is a great touch here.
