Elephant in the Mist

We had all sorts of strange weather om our last visit to Kidepo Valley National Park, Uganda.

Late in the evening we had mist drift down the river valley and very soft light.

This resulted in this Elephant image.

Lovely composition and scence here. I'm just not sure it captured the same moody feel that you probably experienced in person. Must have been a thrill to experience this guy this close.

Ken: a nicely composed scene, but I wish the elephant weren't as dark as it is. Have you considered lightening it a bit? Richard

Richard, It was dark and the Elephant had just had a shower, but perhaps I could have lightened it a little devil
