This is my favorite day lily variety so I'm always excited when they arrive. Took this early in the morning a few days ago and had to put up with the effects of bringing a lens out of an air conditioned house into 98% humidity! But I liked this fogged version so did not delete it. Your comments much appreciated. >=))>

10 commentsI like the effect, Bill. I like a lens free of moisture even more!
Bill - Effect is much like shooting with sun in the frame. I face similar fog specially in summers when I expose the camera to the humidity from the Aircon atmosphere in the car. I have sometimes wiped out of the fog only from the center of the front element, thereby giving me good center focus and misty rest of the frame.
This is quite nice and out of the ordinary. Even here, one can see the focus so wonderfully achieved.
This is really, really great, Bill. I love the mist, and the color is really nice. Excellent all around!

Love the effect, Bill ! The subtelty of the tones is enchanting, and all your usual excellence in focusing and composing very evident.
The misty effect is really nice Bill! Gives it a bit of a high key feeling, and makes those colors very evident. Nice one!
Beautiful, Bill! The mist worked great, too.
That is what I call serendipity!! The "natural" fog works much better than anything you could add in post processing - I really like it!
I like the effect, Bill. I recently went for the same look by breathing on the lens (a Marc Adamus technique) while shooting an azelea.
Just fantastic Bill. Top notch in my book. Larry
