I don't think I need to explain why I love this beach. Inverness Beach, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

The repeating patterns and dappled light in the foreground set this off nicely. Sunstar works to bring a focal point to lead the eye too.

Very cool, Eva. I can see why you love this place and it shows in this image. Facinating rock and sand pattern to go along with the sunstar. If anything, I might decrease the highlights in the sunstar a bit. Really nicely done.

Excellent foreground pattern leading to a nice sky. I like Gary's suggestion and I might give it a CCW rotation? Very well done.

Yes, that is very clear! My only small nit would be the highlight part in the sunstar that Gary mentioned. other than that this is great. I am fascinated by the stones on the beach. Do you know how they ended up there?

Superb rendition of a wonderful place, Eva. I can see where that sunstar would be difficult to manage without other issues manifesting themselves. Minor simple suggestion would be to clone away that single rock on the bottom edge.

The stone/sand mix in the foreground is a major eye catcher in this light. The sky has very complementary textures also. The sunstar really sets this off. A great scene, Eva.

Superb foreground with an amazing sky and the sun in the mountains as a bonus. Everything to make a beaufiful picture. Bravo!

I love the light and shadow play in the foreground Eva. Great job on the dynamic range, that had to be a challenge.

This feels quite unique, even for this place which we've seen so many times. Wonderful stretch to find a new perspective.

Eva, a stunning scene captured with a true photographic expertise. The outstanding part of the image for me is the perfect timing in catching the backlight just right providing all the individual small rock shadows on the sand. Excellent......
