"Our first day lily to open with lots more to come" I would expect no less from you Billcool

The LP looks grand, the colors 'explode' when ya open itblush

Great comp/flow, the anthers grab your eye & take it down that long filament sweep homeenlightened

Very nice!devil

The color palette says "Day Lily" loud and clear. Good choice to concentrate on a small part of the flower!

Ahhh, day lilies, they offer so many color combinations.  I especially like the "choir" of stamen standing there in the middle of the frame.

Bill, I was sure that it was your. This is a type of Lily that grows and blooms only in your camera. The neat front and the soft back have no nit for me. May be a bit warmer WB?

Well captured, Bill. I like the excellent dof management. I also like the title. Good one.

Talk about dramatic, Bill !  Explosive, even, I might say.  Marvellous colour and detail in the anthers, all composed perfectly.  These must be the pride of your garden - and what shots you get from them devil devil
