The river is low in the spring but melting snow leaves shallow ponds everywhere. I put the camera right on top of the water to get this perspective.

Excellent perspective, Gary, with some nice reflections in the water. You've gone for a fairly high contrast and I personally would like to see just a little lightening of the darks in places on some of the rocks and in the mountains. I still like this image very much as is.

This is a very dramatic landscape, Gary. I really like the combination of reflection and rocks through the water in the foreground. It does feel stark to me, which may be what you were looking for, and that feeling has me wondering how this would look in b&w.

Very cool (and COLD) perspective on this grand landscape shot. Lots to see here but easy on the eyes and a big sigh for the soul. Beautiful!

Hi Gary This wonderful perspective that captures the reflections on the water, and the mountains and sky, in the background makes for a breathtaking scene
