I couldn't resist.  The camera was on the ground for this exposure.  This is the first time I've tried a shot like this and I've certainly seen better, but I thought I'd post it anyway as a different take on the theme.

A classic shot with striking contrast between the sun lit leaves and the shadowed trunks and branches.  A nice ground to sky vie, Allen!

Whilst I could almost see this as a B&W, Allen, I do feel the touches of yellow and green make this image sparkle.  Great perspective and some fine detail.

Yes, this is a "classic" view, Allen, but it works very well with those bright green in the tree tops and the mix of blue sky and soft clouds.  Those dark trunks do an excellent job of pulling my eyes up to the sky and the vanishing point.

I have actually always wanted to try this shot myself Allen, so happy to see someone post it. Like Mark said, "classic view" and I like all the lines this creates.

Oh, this is a most excellent one of the classic trees-to-sky images! First, it's a great group of trees. Then, the light playing in the treetops is delightful. I see an abstract quality in the realism, here, that I really like. Excactly how it looks when lying on your back under the trees. Feel like I'm there.
