I have barely picked up my camera since last summer - (3 ill parents on both coasts, moving, wedding in October) so I must resort to my files for this challenge.
Yes, I posted this "oldie" a couple weeks ago, but it surely fits the current WC theme.

A very old image I re-worked for part of a slideshow for this young man's wedding a few weekends ago. He grew from an exuberant, fearless, bright, and delightful kid here into a very fine, kind orthopedic surgeon.

I liked it the first time you posted it. I like it even more today!

Sorry to hear about your parents. Life is what happens when you are planning something else entirely! I look forward to seeing more of your fine work. Part of life is beauty, poignancy, the powerful and profound. Those of us who attempt to recognize these qualities and record them have a special obligation to do so. You are one of the privileged, so when you get a breathing space, be sure to pick up your camera again! :smile:

He sure looks like he's having a blast. If he's dedicated to activities at this level as an adult, it's no wonder he's an orthopedic surgeon.

What a fun image! Just bursting with joy and kid-energy. I'm sure this man treasured this as part of his wedding, and his bride, too! an oldie, but definitely a goodie.

Nice pick for the challenge, Sandy! This is clearly a fine example of winter fun :jump: It looks like you caught the moment that he lost control of the sled which makes for a great action shot.
