Ring Mountain View

Ring Mountain is a preserve on Tiburon, a peninsula north of San Francisco. On a clear evening, the view of the city in the distance and the fog coming into the Golden Gate in the upper right made a lovely scene right before sunset.

This is a busy scene...too busy?

Thanks in advance for any comments or critiques.

The yellows and greens in the foreground are wonderfully inviting, Kathy. In the larger version recognizing that it's the SF skyline in the distance helps it contribute, but I'm inclined to think by giving it prominence you're trying to tell competing stories and that rarely works in an image. One thought is to reduce the blue back there, which might reduce the interest. Then the skyline becomes a subtle part of a beautiful afternoon scene rather than a significant attraction.

Very nice and interesting image! The light is very appealing as well. A view on San Francisco (even if tiny) I have not yet seen. Looks like lovely place - and like an expensive neighbourhood.

What a wonderful view of our fair city. I think I'll get in my car and drive up there. Beautiful image giving a great perspective leading to the tiny downtown outline (where I work). No significant nits. Maybe that bright spot in the llc.

An impressive, pretty scene with nice light and colors, Kathy. Not too busy IMO. :toast:

The scene is enchanting lit up with the buttery side light.
While there is lots to look at, there are three distinct planes--foreground (boulders), mid-ground (meadow with tree) and background (the rest in the distance), so it is not busy or cluttered, but rather interesting.
