Shoreline Park Sunset

This is another from Shoreline Park near my house last Saturday. It was a fiery sunset that night and a sailboat was nice enough to motor into the scene for scale. You can see San Miguel island off at the horizon, which is generally a good sign of long-distance visibility. It is a ways out there.

Fiery sunset, that's the right description! All those rich colors are a pleasure to look at, with the tiny boat adding a nice but very important detail.

Wow...that's a intense image for sure. Too bad you didn't have a breaching whale in the foreground :wink:

Love the color and lines, Harley, and that sailboat really does give a sense of the vastness of the sea to your image. Beautifully done.

Wow! This is beautiful!!! Sure makes me wish I had been there right beside you to take this in. Love the scale that the sailboat adds to this scene. Wonderful work, Harley.
