Another shot at the same site, but a closer horizontal view.

Hassel-Bad 500 CM 50 mm Distagon. Digichrome.

As the reduction in the small shot tends to de-saturate and change the color balance, please have a peek at the larger image.

Thanks as always! T

Beautiful Tom. Who could not love those moss covered rocks? Your color balance is right on. My only nit, and it's just a personal one for me, is that I wish you has used a slightly higher shutter speed to give more texture to the water. That's being really nitty though. All in all, a super nice image.

Really nice composition here. The large version is a must see for full appreciation. I like your shutter speed here. There are a few areas where the water has lost definition. But it's really about detailed mossy rocks vs soft focused water and that really works well for you. There are a few nitpicky things here and there but they're pretty unimportant (small brown limbs protruding out of water).

The large version looks great Tom with very nice colors and good detail in the water. It's also well organized in the scene. Small nit would be the two sticks in the bottom half especially the one under the black rock. They grab my eyes a bit. But a very nice image as is. Well done.

Very nice, Tom! The large version does work a lot better! Nice flow of the water and those moss covered rocks look great. I see what Bill is talking about and how those 2 sticks grab some of the attention.

The cascades are nicely captured. I'm fine with the shutter speed.

The cascades are perfect Tom, but I wish my eye was being led to somewhere deeper.

Love the motion of the water with your shutter speed chosen, and always enjoy the moss covered rocks. Could see cropping a bit off the left hand side to eliminate the far left slope/pebbles and stuff, attempting to make this all about mossy rocks and cascading water. Just a thought. Love the larger version; beautiful work.

This closeup works very well - the sharp detail on the moss contrasts perfectly with the dynamism of the water!
