Apologies for the absence, currently enjoying three weeks of R&R in BC Canada and our condo in Whistler, great skiing, albeit this year with limited snow. This reflects the unseasonal warm weather we have here, posting remotely.

Thanks for either viewing or commenting on the previous image.

Nice shot of a very interesting looking bird. My only thought would be a slight crop off the bottom and maybe a tad on the top.

Really interesting bird, and captured beautifully, with a good pose, nice perch and perfect background. I like the comp as-is, but it would also make a beautiful 4x5 by taking a little off the bottom. (Nice to have more excellent framing choices.)

Been on your travels again Steve, this bird fits well into the habitat, nice diffused b/g, good stuff.

Wonderful species, and I look both the perch as the pose. Head turns always work well for me ! Cheers, Hans

I like the head turn you managed to capture here Steve. I do think this might even work better as a 4x5 vertical instead of a 2x3. My only other suggestion is maybe clone out the small leaves coming into the frame on the lower right. I might do two versions, this one for places which don't allow closing and the other as an piece for sale. Both of these are really small suggestions...the image does still work very well as is. Nice work! :toast:
