Taken at the Sugar Grove Nature Center's bird sanctuary which contains bird feeders. I am finding getting a good image of this species to be a bit frustrating. But, I will keep trying, after all it is fun to watch them, they are so quick.

Canon SL1
1/500 @ F-5.6 ISO 400
Canon EF-70-300 IS USM
@ 300mm HH

Hi John,

The titmouse is a worthy adversary for getting an ideal shot. I have a few, but nothing worth printing. The head is a little soft, but you did not have much of a target with that front-back pose. Keep trying and you should snag a good one. Keep your camera settings to burst mode so that you can capture a whole sequence as the bird changes poses........................Jim

Hi John: Nice opportunity. Looks like you need to choose a different AF sensor to be active at the time of exposure. Nice exposure, just needs to be a bit sharper on the head.

a nice bg and setting, John, it's too bad the head is not sharp.
